Excepting the titles, my own comments are minimal. Instead I rely on news sources to string together what I hope is an interesting, politically challenging, non-partisan, non-ideological narrative.
You have to give Islam credit; they don't worry about how they look, or how anyone else in the world feels about them. It is also pretty amazing that the Pope would quote from that ancient text in the context of today's travails, but he may not subscribe to the Rodney King school of diplomacy ("Can't we all just get along...")Nevertheless, if everyone called for muder and mayhem every time someone pissed them off, there'd be no one left to complain. The muslims calling for the Pope to die should look to Iraq and realize they do not have to wipe everyone out before they turn on each other...for them the future is now. Many muslims preach that their's is a religion of peace and brotherhood. We'd do best to find them and support them in every way we can.
